Medium-sized, flattened, heavily ribbed. Green or deep green with yellowish spots. It turns orange in storage. It has sweet yellow-orange flesh (and lots of it, as the seed cavity is pretty small).

Deep-yellow to mildew-blue. Turns dull-orange in storage.
Full-flavored orange flesh.

Small, round, or oval-shaped.
It has a smooth mottled light- green & white rind when it's young. It becomes deep-green or deep-green & white when it matures. Its yellow flesh is perfect for cooking, grilling, and frying.

Hybrid. It looks similar to 'Super Freak' pumpkin, but it's much smaller. It weighs up to 2 and a half pounds. It's round and it has orange skin covered with warts. It has a sturdy green handle.

124 - Turban Squash

Beautiful looking. Medium-sized. Often used as a decor piece. It can be cooked, but it doesn't have a very sharp taste.
It's acorn-shaped with a flattened base. It's multi-colored. The base is usually red, orange, green, or yellow.
The turban is often green, yellow, and orange with white streaks or stripes (it's also ribbed with warts and bumps here and there).

125 - The Ol Zebs Pumpkin

Heirloom variety. Sometimes round, but usually oblong-shaped. It has a bright-orange, densely ribbed rind and a long, green, sometimes curvy, handle. It weighs up to 30 pounds. It is perfect for carving and decorating purposes, but it's also used to make pies.

126 - Tahitian Melon Squash

Butternut squash type. It's a Tahitian heirloom. It has a long (often curved) neck and wide bottom. It usually weighs between 12-20 pounds, but it can reach up to 40 pounds. Its fragrant flesh is so sweet that juices often caramelize while baking. It's perfect for making pies, but its interesting shapes make it a great decor piece, too. Its skin is dull orange, orange, or salmon-colored.

Medium to large. Very flattened & thick-walled. It weighs between 15 to 25 lbs. It has a deep-orange ribbed rind and a very pronounced, thick, dark-green handle.

Funny looking (very crooked). It has a long neck and a bulbous bottom. It's light green with pale whitish stripes when young, and yellow when mature. It has smooth skin. Sometimes it looks like an expanding drop of water, other times it's shaped like a swan or a snake. It's sweeter than zucchini and its neck is seed-free. Available in the Summer and Winter!

Upright. Medium to large. Cream colored with dense ribbing and thin green handle. Perfect for making pies.
