Small, flattened, ribbed. Top looks slightly imploded. It has light yellow skin with bright orange streaks and spots. Great for stuffing and as a decor piece. Looks similar to Lil' Pumpkemon.

Heirloom from the Iranian city of Torbat-e-Heydariyeh. Medium & large. Round. Multicolored (green, light green, orange, yellow). It has smooth, spotted skin and moderate to no ribbing. Sometimes slightly flattened.

63 - Japanese Snake Gourd (Trichosanthes pilosa)

Small fruit (up to 7cm). Round or oval-shaped. Light-green with possible white stripes when immature. Red when mature. Resembles gooseberry. Grows in a tropical and semi-tropical climate. Vegetative characteristics of both the Japanese Snake Gourd and Chinese Snake Gourd are similar (for example, their beautiful flowers look almost exactly the same).

They look like mini pumpkins but they're actually a type of squash. Delicious when stuffed and baked. They're small, ribbed, flattened, orange, or bright orange with long thin handles.
