Grown for thousands of years. It's cucumber or banana-shaped, bright orange, with barely visible streaks. Its skin is slightly rugged. It can grow up to 3 feet. It has sweet flesh. Harvested in the early Fall.

Small, crazy-shaped, multi-colored.
 Shapes vary. Some may resemble acorns, stars, mushrooms, or flowers. Others may be pear-shaped with wings and crooked necks (or without). Most of them are covered with warts. They're available in the Fall.

Small. Shaped like eggs. Often two-colored (usually, yellow and green). Sometimes they're green with silver streaks. One-colored variations (white, yellow, and orange) are also available.

French Heirloom. Light orange skin, flattened, medium to large (usually around 15 pounds). Covered with white & brown warts and bumps with the hard, brownish stem. Very rich and flavorous orange flesh.
